Make Tenuta Santo Pietro your home base while you explore Tuscany on a day tour of the area tailored to your specific desires. Florence is only 1 hour and 15 minutes away and Siena and Cortona are only 40 minutes away. We can book a van with a driver to take you to and from either city, arrange city tours in English or Italian and at the end of the day you can leave the crowds behind and return for a late afternoon dip in our refreshing pool.
Alternatively, you may want to book a day tour focused on wineries both in Montepulciano and Montalcino. We accompany you on an in-depth exploration and tasting of wines from this region. This includes private tours and tastings in smaller family owned wineries both in Montepulciano and Montalcino. This can be combined with a lunch in one of the local restaurants (at an extra cost) where you are able to bring wine purchased directly in the cellars if you prefer or a picnic if you would rather spend more time tasting wines.
